Climatification
European youth organizations should be pioneers in teaching youngsters on Climate Change prevention and preparing them for the new wave of inovation required for a sustainable future. This project aims to share and dessiminate tools based on gamification in order to improve the quality of youth work in the area of Climate Change.
Background
The motivations of this project are highly tied to the struggles people undergo these days, such as disastrous weather events, pandemics and epidemics. All these cause huge and irreversible damage to nature, threathning the mass extinction of species. Some of us have witnessed these events, and we know it may take a turn for the worse within our lifespan. The COVID-19 pandemic was a wake-up call for us humans to take stronger action in face of global threats. The worst impacts of Climate Change are yet to come, we can still avoid them if we work towards building a safer future for all. But we need to take action now! This is an issue that requires all of us to work together, but especially youth since they are at the heart of the global movement for a low-carbon, climate resilient future.
